The title pretty much wraps it all doesn't it, but i must write further to prove my point to those detractors who don't read my blog, and to those people who read it, you know you agree with me anyways. So, i very conveniently will rant and do more to, well, i just want to write, so buzz off if you are busy and have a social life.
Each day, i see those kids with their names on the notice board- organising a who gives the H event, some freshmnan-loving paaartaaaaaay if you want to get into the nitty- gritties of what they pretend to do to get actual letters of recommendation. My friends, keeping their double- entendres apart whine about what they should do, as is their birth-right and do pretty much what everybody does, albeit in a secretive manner ( sounds all hi-tech gadgets, geek becomes spy for a day , Right!!! NOT!)
Anyhoooo, chuck all that selling their soul for a doughnut, we sell it for a mere piece of paper, creating achievements where none are required, increase the size of our resumes without increasing the font size. Pretend to like the educators, laugh at their sad silly jokes made on a all too regular basis for what, that merit bestowing piece of paper, I realized something, some-what high level educators sad joke's are laughed at by their slightly low- level educators, is it the need, the desire to suck up or they just have a stuupid sense of humour, maybe it's both.
Sarcasm, shhh, hide that put it away in a closet if you want to get that *****, be nice, wish unknown unwanted people each day with a smile on your lips, whilst hiding that biting wit. Smile, act stupid to make your teachers and other kids laugh, remember, one certificate at a time. Selling out is pretty much what you do, day in- day out,you feel like crap, but screw that, there are other kids doing that and more, so you follow the herd, leave aside the morals, chuck that sense of impropriety and get to hear from your friends (the knowledgeable ones), you sold out.
Till later, reader viewership: 2, counting me of course, what an understated audience though.
