Philosophy is a tough break from reality, I want to read it, want to know it, but heck calvin and hobbes is much more informative than Nietzsche and Kant can ever be. Some times a cartoon strip is all you need to understand somethings which 10 books on the subject cannot explain. It may be us human beings weak mind which prevents us from learning info from books, or it could be the innate stubbornness which prevents us from opening our minds to the books for perusal of our actual knowledge,
Sometimes an inanimate object can teach us more than what animate human beings can and in lesser time.
You ever realise that when you wake up from sleeping, you take time to focus, let the light gradually seep in through the half closed gaps in the windows and than you take the full impact of it, you may totter, stumble for a bit but then you recover and can see clearly. Its somewhat like life, you wake up, you can’t see what the world is, you are hidden behind pillow like barriers but then you gradually recover and then you can see everything like never before, your eyes open so wide, it pains to sleep lest you miss too much. Many of us walk through our days with our eyes still half open choosing to postpone the actual seeing of the world than to take the onslaught of it all at one go.
You ever realise that when you sleep, you can choose your own category and degree of dreams, it is fascinating. You can in your day dreams live a life seen by few, and remembered even by less, whilst you while away your monotonous days doing things people don’t really care for a salary which really doesn’t count. It is fascinating what sleep deprivation can do for a person, his instincts may dullen, his processing of thoughts may get slower but his mind gets faster, it begins to hum in anticipation of the true time we actually spent utilising our brain. Deprivation of sleep like hunger and shelter among other things actually manages to unleash our carnal inner being, the one which makes sure we do whatever we want to do in the best way possible by the sharpening of the abve-mentioned mind rather than than of the insticts or of the actions.
Hunnnn whhhuunn is what I hear while scraping my fingers against my teeth in boredom, it sounds noisy to me, like a muffled explosion in my ear drum, its like we hear those things loudly which matter to us, while blocking out the un-important things. How normal of us naturally selfish humans if that’s what we call ourselves, we are naturally predisposed to our own means than to the welfare of others, it’s been propagated throughout the centuries, one of the popular ways being the strategy of the fittest, in essence weeding out of the have-not’s in favour of the have-all’s. These peculiarly straightforward words belie the true meaning of what these words actually convey.
Abstract writing is writing something which you along with others would never dare to publish and hope that someday a crackpot would publish it in the hope that people were too shortsighted to recognise such a wonderful abstract work. Hope is the operative word here, abstract has no limits, no wait it has the limit of a limited computer battery!!
Yeah, abstract boredom is more like it. Abstract writing- Just not there yet, a bit more required..
