Hypocrisy

Here we go again.The thing about us is that, like it or not,we always like to suck up to people.Even if we have a different view on the topic being discussed,we would go with the majority watever their stand is,as we do not want to be labelled as people with "different" views.We just do not have the guts or the gall to stand up and state our own view,lest we be treated as outcasts by our fellow-men.Do not get me wrong,i do not wish to ostracize you all,in fact, i too have been an offender of the practice of hypocrisy.It is a seldom-noticed phenomenon among us,unless it has been pointed out by others,which is when realization dawns on us.Only the bourgeious is not involved in this malpractice,but,in fact it pervades all levels of our society.For eg. the junior employee's espousing their manager's cause irrespective of their own view-point's, the eager to please assistant always in accordance with his senior's recommendations.etc.

Are we such spineless beings,without a mind of our own.The answer is NO.The circumstances are in a major way responsible for us having to change our views,our thought,our way of carrying out work etc. so as to climb the never -ending ladder of success.The social,economic and political setup is such that we have to bend to the commands of otherwise like human beings.We have to show such servility to them that it astounds even our close one's.over a period of time,our mindset become's such that our mind closes to different viewpoint's,we are unable to take in other views.We become so obdurate that we believe our superiors are always right and others including us ourselves are wrong.

People ask us,why,after so many years of independence ,is our country still developing.We have the best brains,the most hardworking people in the world,yet,we lag behind other smaller countries.deficient in natural resources.Every year,our country produces the highest number of doctors,engineers and scientists;yet we lag behind.
