Who is worse?

I would like to focus on three different religions and they way they are perceived in today's modern society.

First of all,I would like to focus on Hinduism. Hinduism is widely practiced all over our country and a major part of our population consists of Hindu's. We perceive ourselves to be the elitist's of our society. We always try to play the blame-game, and castigate Muslim's as "cutters"(a crude word meant to personify the ruthlessness inherent in the followers of Islam) as well as blame Sikh's for their greed in creating a seperate state of Khalistan.
On the other hand,we too are no less.We also ardently participate in riots resulting in unneccessary and huge damage to property and life. For eg. Lets take the Ramjan bhoomi, on which an ancient mosque was torn down brick by brick with the help of party workers, instigated by someone who is now vying for the top job in the country at the coming Elections. After tearing down the mosque, a temple was constructed on it to signify that the land belong to Hindu's and not to Muslim's.
All over the country,we fight for, fight against and fight with religion as our premise.Religion is personal and should be kept so.It should not become a matter of contention at polls and be paraded around with vulgar display's of glee.
Sikhs are blamed for their demand of a separate state, ever distrusted since that fateful day when our 1st female prime minister, Mrs. Gandhi was shot dead in cold blood by her own Sikh bodyguards due to a hassle between her and the, then spiritual leader of the Sikh's.

Who are we to judge people on the basis of their religion.Look at yourselves before blaming other religious fanaticism. We all fight against each other over the minor matter of the religion we belong to. It is truly a sad day for Indian society when differences are created between one and all over the matter of religion, when votes are demanded on the basis of religion, when people are treated differently on the basis of religion. How long can we shield our eyes from this problem whose roots have been firmly entrenched in our society. When will we realise the gargantum scope of our problem. Will we awake when our country has been reduced to bits and pieces due to internal fighting, will we awake when this problem has truly taken over our people. Day by Day, we nurture this problem unknowingly.

It is up to us to decide whether we wish to live in harmony or let ourselves be destroyed by the ever-largening problem that is religion.Do not side only with people from your religion. Side with those who believe in you, with those who wish the future to be bright for all and not only one own's religion.
